Turn2us Professionals (Intermediaries*) User Guide - Turn2us: an Introduction

Turn2us: an Introduction

Turn2us helps people struggling with financial hardship gain access charitable grants: online through Turn2us Elizabeth Finn Fund and the Turn2us Grants Search, and face to face through our partner organisations.

Research has shown that people who have money difficulties are more likely to be reached through face-to-face support. That is why your work as an intermediary between people in financial need and the services we provide is fundamental to Turn2us and at the heart of what we do.

The Turn2us website

Our free, accessible website is a comprehensive and invaluable resource designed to help you find appropriate sources of financial support, quickly and easily, based on the particular needs and circumstances of the people you are working with.

Features include:

  • A Grants Search containing the details of thousands of charitable funds that may be able to provide financial support and other services

  • Confidential ‘My Turn2us’ accounts used to make online enquiries to grant-giving charities.

You will find the word 'intermediary' sometimes used in this website. It is a term we use to describe you if you are a professional working with people in financial need. This includes you if you are an adviser, support worker, home visitor or welfare officers who have regular face-to-face contact with people in financial need - and includes you if you are paid staff or a volunteer.
