Mental Health Ireland is celebrating World Mental Health Week from the 7th – 13th October 2018.
World Mental Health Day takes place on the 10th October and this years theme is ‘Young People and Mental Health In a Changing World’, as set by the World Federation for Mental Health.
To kick the week, the charity hosted its 5,000 Steps to Wellbeing Walk in University College Dublin (UCD) on Sunday 7th October – where you learn all about the Five Ways to Wellbeing and also get a nice walk in!
The Five Ways to Wellbeing are simple actions you can do in your everyday life to feel good and function well:

Mental Health Ireland is a national voluntary organisation which was established in 1966 as the Mental Health Association of Ireland (MHI). The charity's aim is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing to all individuals and communities in Ireland. It has a network of 92 Mental Health Associations throughout the country, all led by volunteers which fundraise to organise outings and events for those struggling with mental health in their communities.
